Singles Match
Leon Slater vs Trent Seven
At the end of the match, Trent Seven connects Seven Star Lariat and Piledriver on Slater, but his opponent escapes at the count of two! Seven does his Birminghammer, but Slater removes his shoulder again before the count of three! Leon Slater resists and hits a DDT on Seven on the ramp. He then takes momentum up the ramp and launches himself at Seven below. Slater brings Seven back into the ring and hits him with his Swanton 450 to snatch the victory!
Winner: Leon Slater
– After the match, Trent Seven shows respect to Leon Slater. Kazarian enters the ring, but Slater turns around before Kaz has a chance to attack him from behind. The two wrestlers face each other before their meeting at the Genesis pre-show.
– A video of Joe Hendry in his conquest of the TNA world title is broadcast. He says this is his opportunity. He only has one chance to reveal his potential and it’s at Genesis when he faces Nic Nemeth. He wants to show that he can be the one everyone believes in.
– It’s time for the “Pre-Launch Celebration by Elegance”. Personal Concierge introduces Ash & Heather by Elegance. They make a speech as if they were already tag team champions. Spitfire cuts them off in their celebration and points out the absurdity of their rejoicing because the match hasn’t even happened yet. The situation escalates and Dani Luna and Jody Threat throw Ash & Heather out of the ring.
– Behind the scenes, Gia Miller finds PCO and Sami Callihan. She asks what strategy they will adopt for their match tonight against the Hardys. PCO responds incomprehensibly. Callihan translates: Tonight there will be chaos, the unpredictable. They’re going to get their place for Genesis.
Tag Team Match
Fir$t Cla$$ (AJ Francis & KC Navarro) vs Eric Young & Steve Maclin
At the end of the match, KC Navarro gets confused with Judd Lormand in the crowd. AJ Francis comes to defend his partner and grabs the actor by the collar to explain himself. Security separates them. Steve Maclin surprises Francis with an Olympic Slam. Eric Young climbs to the top rope to deliver an Elbow Drop on KC Navarro to win the match by pinfall.
Gagnants : Eric Young & Steve Maclin
– After the match, Eddie Edwards, Alisha Edwards and Brian Myers appear on the ramp.
– Before the clash at Genesis in a Clockwork Orange House of Fun Match for the Knockouts World Championship, Masha Slamovich and Rosemary confess. We are also shown Slamovich’s appearance on NXT this week and interaction with Cora Jade.
-– The Northern Armory is in the ring. Josh Alexander announces that Mike Santana will not be able to fight at Genesis, after what Northern Amory did to him last week. Santana is in the audience and takes the liberty of correcting Alexander’s words: He will be there at Genesis. He also adds that their match will be an I Quit Match!
Singles Match
Laredo Kid vs Jake Something
At the end of the match, Laredo Kid climbs to the top rope. Something joins him and powersbombs him for the count of three.
Gagnant : Jake Something
– A video of Ace Austin talking about his friendship with Chris Bey is broadcast. He also talks about his championship match against Moose at Genesis to become a four-time champion.
– As PCO and Sami Callihan enter, the arena is plunged into darkness and the mysterious number 23 appears.
Tag Team Match – if PCO and Callihan win the match, they will be added to the championship match at Genesis
PCO & Sami Callihan vs The Hardys (Matt Hardy & Jeff Hardy)
At the end of the match, Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy each perform a Twist Of Fate on Callihan. Jeff Hardy does his Swanton Bomb for the victory by pinfall.
Gagnants : The Hardys
– Jordynne Grace makes an announcement saying that Tessa Blanchard has not signed her contract for their match at Genesis. She therefore leaves it visible on the commentators’ table so that the match becomes official this evening.
– It’s time for the showdown between champion Nic Nemeth and his challenger Joe Hendry! The latter speaks first to say that Genesis will be the beginning of a new era. He has no choice, he must win this match. Nemeth understands this. He knows what it means to him, but Hendry has no idea what it means to be champion. Nemeth broadcasts footage from Bound For Glory when JBL attacked Joe Hendry and Ryan Nemeth. He wants to point out that he didn’t even see JBL intervene and that this was absolutely not planned. Hendry says he’s missing something, something that doesn’t make sense. Ryan Nemeth cuts him off. He calls out to his brother and tries to convince him that Hendry is not his friend. He tries to manipulate him. Joe Hendry says he’s had enough of him. Ryan enters the ring as Nic puts his belt in the corner. When the champion turns around, Joe Hendry wants to give Ryan Nemeth a Standing Ovation, but Nic superkicks him! Joe Hendry stays down as Nic Nemeth leaves the ring confused.
– Tessa Blanchard is at the commentators table. She signs the contract to face Grace at Genesis. She is very aggressive with Tom Hannifan. Jordynne Grace comes in from the audience to fight with her. Grace hits her Grace Driver on Blanchard in the center of the ring to end the show.
