Residents of several areas of the city live in fear of being attacked by stray dogs, these animals which threaten their safety on a daily basis, particularly that of children and the elderly.
The phenomenon is taking on alarming proportions in the city of Tangier where cases of attacks by stray dogs have increased, causing serious injuries to victims and creating psychosis among the populations.

The lack of reaction from local authorities to this situation, which threatens public health, worries Tangiers who no longer feel safe, as stray dogs can transmit diseases such as rabies to them through bites or scratches.
Numerous complaints from residents to local authorities have changed nothing. They are content to sporadically carry out campaigns to cull these dogs, failing to take concrete measures to eradicate this phenomenon.
