This restriction of use concerns some 2,200 inhabitants of the following municipalities:

  • Municipality of Claville-Motteville (76690)

Municipalities partially impacted:

  • Municipality of Clères (76690): rue du trou à barbe, route de mont cauvaire, farm of the college, grand cordelleville, petit cordelleville, chemin des forrières, rue de la futaie, hamlet of houssiette, rue des mares, impasse sente à basket, chemin ratiéville, rue deseille, Allée Clos Saint Sauveur.
  • Municipality of Le Bourg (76690): chemin des haubépines, route du bolhard, rue du capendu, route de clères, domaine plaine des haies, tour du hollow, rue du Hamel, route du Mesnil, chemin du Thil, rue des écoles, chemin mesnil englier, le hamel, coast of justice, hamlet le hollow, le mesnil, chemin des maisonettes, mont piel, rue du rombosc, path talvanne, rue du thieulin, impasse du oak vallettes.

The other municipalities in the sector are not impacted by this event.

Also, in consultation with the Regional Health Agency following the precautionary principle, residents of these municipalities are invited not to use water for food purposes and brushing their teeth. It remains usable for all other uses (toilets, showers, dishes and washing clothes).

The services of the Community and the teams of Veolia Eau du Territoire Eure Pays de Bray are mobilized and will organize a bottled water distribution service on Monday, December 9 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the village hall of the commune of Mont Cauvaire for the inhabitants of Mont Cauvaire and Fontaine le Bourg, and at the village hall of the commune of Authieux Ratiéville for the inhabitants of Clères, Claville Motteville and the Authieux Ratievilles.

The residents concerned were systematically warned and informed by Veolia Water as part of its telephone alert system and will also be informed when things return to normal.
