Improving healthy lifestyles is the challenge of the event held yesterday at the Saint-Paul Clinic in Fort-de-.

Entitled “All in balance”, this event organized by the health establishment aimed to raise awareness among patients, visitors and employees about healthy and sustainable lifestyle habits in their daily lives.

To do this, practical and fun workshops have been set up on various themes such as food, sleep and even addictions.

The initiative was favorably received, particularly by health personnel, as explained by Samantha, a nurse at the Saint-Paul clinic.

The initiative is very good, whether for us, for the patients, for the visitors, because in fact, indeed, we are in a hospital environment where there is the chemical aspect, where we have to have an operation and where medications are used. But thanks to these events, these health days, we can see that there are other aspects like food that come into play in our health. We have, for example, aromatherapy which can also help, relaxation, sophrology, massages, sport. These are important elements for our health. And, as healthcare workers, we often say that shoemakers have the worst shoes. We need to take time for ourselves. These days are made for us too, so we participate even if we work at the same time and we take and learn every day.

Several awareness workshops

The regional group to support the development of e-health (GRADeS), which presented the digital space for managing its health data “My health space” was one of the exhibitors present.

The details of Stéphanie Liserli, responsible for territorial support.

Using a game of goose, we explain to users the projects we are working on, in particular the national health identity, secure health messaging, cybersecurity which is very important at the moment and of course, “My Health Space”.

Frédéric Ettenat, regional coordinator “My health space” at Grades :

There is still a lot to do in terms of communication. My Health Space has existed since January 1, 2022, so it's been two years, two years now. There was a communication that went public, on with an cosmonaut. People didn't really understand what it was about. And then, we also received emails. Some fell into spam, others did not understand what it was about, or were involved in yet another scam, which means that all of this did not necessarily contribute to good communication around “My Health Space”. “. And many people, professionals, even patients and everyone, still do not know what “My health space” is. We will need to strengthen communication around this digital health record.

Another stress management and relaxation workshop allowed the exploration of techniques such as sophrology.

Laëtitia Murciano, sophrologistreturns to the objective of this workshop.

It's really about being able to provide tools on how to settle down, how to relax, in relation to breathing, in particular, and relaxation. The idea is to be able to banish your thoughts, think about only one thing at a time, and rest your body so you can gain energy afterwards. It truly is harmony between body and mind. We rest our minds, we only think about one thing, which will make the heart slow down. And if the heart is calm, the rest of the body relaxes. It really goes together.
