Nicole Gahéry, visual artist, exhibits her latest resin creations at the media library. By receiving academic education seven years ago, she perfected, under the direction of her workshop master, her oil painting technique.
His skills, combined with an innate artistic sense, had enabled him to create paintings that were widely appreciated at exhibitions and competitions. However, curious and in constant search of new forms of expression, Nicole Gahéry then turned to exploring resin work.
She then associated it with acrylic in her works. Then her artistic research led her to work with resin, which she pigmented, taking inspiration from geodes, these spherical crystalline rocks.
His first creations, similar to precious stones, evolved towards more figurative compositions, always anchored in his favorite theme of nature. Each resin work, carefully crafted, offers a singular and unique universe, inviting the viewer on a dreamlike journey.
The exhibition of around thirty of these revisited geodes is visible during the media library’s opening hours until December 21.
