As part of Pink October, the municipality of Brax recently organized a donation evening.
Thanks to the dedication of the Brax associations, a global check in the amount of 2,086.32 euros was handed over by the mayor of Brax, Joël Ponsolle, and Sylvie Garnon, deputy for education and head of the CCAS, in favor of two associations working in the fight against cancer.
“The associations, which organized and participated in the solidarity marches, generously donated their profits to local associations engaged in the fight against cancer,” explains Joël Ponsolle, the mayor of Brax. This donation was passed on to Colette Castendet, volunteer for the League Against Cancer, and to Michelle Bauvy, president and founder of the Cancerology Committee of Lot-et-Garonne.
