Diabetes represents a real public health issue in Morocco, affecting populations of all ages. More than 2.7 million Moroccan adults currently live with this disease, almost 50% of whom are undiagnosed..
According to a press release from the Ministry of Health, more than 2.2 million people are pre-diabetic, and 25,000 children are also affected by this pathology.
As part of its care policy, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection monitors more than 1.5 million diabetics in primary care settingsby offering them a structured care pathway and regular medical support.
