Value caring approaches. This is the objective of the Human Professions Trophies ceremony, organized in the Hôtel de Région in Toulouse, on December 5. The event aims to “highlight exceptional career paths” and “reward the remarkable contributions” of medico-social workers. Prizes will be awarded to them in two categories: support for families, as well as innovations in professional practices. The ceremony is part of a broader desire to accompany and support human professions, promoted by the organizing club, Douce Tribu.
Increase recognition of medico-social professionals
Gracieuse Fonta founded Douce Tribu in April 2022, to support independent workers in the perinatal and early childhood sectors, who are still little recognized and often isolated today. Asked last year by Independent Opinionthe Toulouse woman affirmed:
These jobs are not reimbursed by mutual insurance and are not part of the care pathway. It is therefore difficult for these active people to make themselves known.”

Douce Tribu today brings together 48 medico-social professionals, spread throughout France. The group offers activities, times for discussion and sharing, to break the isolation of entrepreneurs, and encourage meeting with other professionals in the sector.
