In its latest issue, the magazine 60 Millions de consommateurs focuses on the pollution by pesticides of the foods we consume daily. Here are the ones that contain even more pesticides than before, common foods that have the highest levels of pesticides.

Used to optimize the production of our foods, pesticides are sometimes chemical substances that help us get rid of parasites to guarantee more fruitful harvests. Very useful for never running out of the common foods we eat every day, they are often used in large quantities for better performance. Problem: some of these substances are suspected of being dangerous for our health, especially when we consume large doses regularly through our diet. And it is the foods that we consider healthy and the best for health that are the most affected: fruits (discover in particular the seasonal fruit which is full of pesticides in 2024), the vegetables (including green vegetables which are very polluted and salads), and cereals since even rice is contaminated by pesticides! When we add up the small regulatory doses present in each of the foods we eat over the course of a day, it is easy to understand that the potential risk linked to the accumulation of these quantities of pesticides is real.
