From May 21 to 24, the City will offer various activities aimed at all audiences in order to encourage a dynamic and healthier and more balanced eating habits that can have a positive impact on the health of Livry residents in the long term. Discover the program.

For seniors

Tuesday May 21 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Espace Emile Guichard (40 rue Saint-Claude)

  • Interventions on “eating well”: dieticians from the MIAM association will offer different interventions on the importance of having a balanced diet, on the risks linked to nutritional deficiencies, dehydration, etc.
  • Preparation of simple and quick recipes which will be enjoyed during a convivial moment, with musical background.

Friday May 24 at 1:30 p.m. at the Jean Lebas residence (40 rue Saint-Claude)

  • Milkshake and smoothie workshop led by the residence’s agents, allowing you to discover the pleasure of taste and the importance of hydration thanks to the use of seasonal fruits for a refreshing taste experience (followed by a tasting).

Aimed at all audiences, in particular users of the CMS Simone Veil

Thursday May 23 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at CMS Simone Veil (36 rue Saint-Claude)

Information and awareness day on the links between health and eating well. This day will also be an opportunity to provide information on the possibilities of diabetes screening.

Two CMS nurses will be at your disposal throughout the day to provide information on:

  • spotting the warning signs of diabetes
  • diabetes and its complications
  • the importance of medical consultation
  • the various examinations on medical prescription offered at the CMS: samples, retinography, etc.
  • balanced diet: sugar, salt, fats, etc.
  • the impact of tobacco on taste

For the youngest

In nurseries

Themed meals throughout the week prepared in the kitchen by agents of municipal early childhood structures.

In canteens and leisure centers

  • “The fruit and vegetable festival”: two activities carried out on May 21 and 23 by the service provider “Quadrature Restauration” during the lunch break at the Jean-de-La-Fontaine and Bayard schools
  • Raising awareness about “eating well” via discovery workshops
  • The leisure center facilitators will offer an improved snack with atypical fruit juices, little-known flavors as well as sweet treats.

Towards the children of the Passerelle workshop (reception structure for children and adolescents from Livry with disabilities)

  • Educational outing to La Cueillette de Rutel on Tuesday May 21
  • Seasonal fruit tasting workshop on Thursday May 23 from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Danton gymnasium
