The town welcomed Anaïs, Muriel and Perrine at the end of the first week of walking of the unclassifiable “Walking since the dawn of time” project, between Chauvet and Lascaux, which aims to connect these two sites by seven “trios” , artists and/or scientists who follow one another to walk to meet the territories and their inhabitants, in order to understand their time and space.

At each handover, the arriving trio shares the feelings and experience gained from this moving residence with the residents and visitors who come to welcome them at the stage. The three walkers did it with art, humor and poetry. In addition to this sharing, the public was able to follow the initiator of the project, Georges Matichard (from the Monik-Lézart agency), and Olivier Deves (former mayor of Sénéchas) in a short guided tour of the village, applaud the dancers of the company Dakipaya danza and their show Fiberfollow an archaeological talk on the “kites” of the Middle East with Emmanuelle Regagnon from the CNRS Archéorient branch in Jales, taste forgotten grape varieties and apple juice produced in the town to end this afternoon of meetings and close the evening in the most convivial way with a bal’trad hosted by the Senecha duo Chaloupe composed of François Heim and Mathieu Medoc.
