A complaint was filed with the National Commission for Information Technology and Liberties (Cnil) against Fairtiq. Launched less than a year ago by the Region to reserve TER tickets, the application is accused of not respecting the protection of personal data.

Neither more nor less than “shake the coconut tree”. This is the objective with which Pascal Vautrin filed a complaint with the National Commission for Information Technology and Liberties (Cnil) on April 2 against the Occitanie region, SNCF Voyageurs, and the Fairtiq company. Reason given by this French nurse passionate about the issue of tracking personal data on the internet: non-compliance with the protection of users’ personal data by the Fairtiq application.
