Nîmes elected officials, Frédéric Pastor, Sophie Roulle, Valentine Wolber, Xavier Douais and Lucie Schnoebelen, communications manager for the Edeis group, presented, at the end of the morning, the program for the 2025 Roman Days. This event, launched in 2010 , returns from April 25 to 27.
Like every year, many events are planned throughout the city. The Gallo-Roman village on the esplanade, the legionnaires' fort in the Jardins de la Fontaine, the ancient market and the great nighttime parade will be there. Without forgetting the historic spectacle with three more performances in the arenas, entitled this year: “Romulus, the birth of Rome”.
The show will begin with the founding myth of Rome: the story of Remus and Romulus. The public will discover the birth of Rome with its first battles led by Romulus, the establishment of its institutions and the successive reigns which allowed the growth of Rome. The story will end with the fall of Tarquin the Superb. The main actor is Grégory Nardella, who appeared notably in the Panda series on TF1.
The ticket office is already open on Adam Concerts. More information can be found in our Fact of the Day tomorrow at 7 a.m.
