The Lorraine based in the Emirates took fifth final place in the First Stage (section G) at Cha-Am (Thailand) thanks to two successive cards of 69 (-3), then 71 (-1) and 67 (-5). Twenty spots here qualified for Hua Hin. Among the qualified, we can also note the presence of the Swiss Robert Foleydriven by the pair Alain AlbertiRaphaël Jacquelinand Spanish Pep Angles.

Committed to Kanchanaburi (Thailand) in section F of this First Stage, Robin Roussel was less lucky. Still in the nails after 54 holes (then ranked 16th), the golferOzoir-la-Ferrière (77) signed a second card of 72 (+1) this Friday. Insufficient to appear among the 17 qualified and tied (where we find in particular the Irishman and former winner on the European Tour, Paul Dunne).

The horizon is clearly darkening for the resident of the Team St Laurent since by finishing 146th in the Road on the Challenge Tourits opportunities to play in the second European division in 2025 are almost zero (barely five to six tournaments in the season). The former member of DP World Tour should in all likelihood leave again on a satellite Tour, theAlps Tour or the Pro Golf Tour
