According to several sources, a new boss of LIV should soon be appointed in place of Greg Norman.

While rumors of the long-awaited merger between the PGA Tour and the LIV Tour come and go (but it's hard to believe it…), that of the replacement of Greg Norman at the head of the circuit financed by the Saudi PIF (Public Investment Fund) are becoming more and more insistent. The personality of the Australian champion does not help the famous rapprochement hoped for…

According to the English television channel Sky News and the newspaper Sport Business, the resigning CEO of Merlin Entertainments, a company which manages numerous amusement parks (Legoland, Peppa Pig World, etc.), is about to take on the mantle of boss of the Saudi circuit.

Scott O’Nielthat's his name, is expected to get the job. The Englishman has some experience in the world of sport. He was notably the boss of the Philadelphia 76ers NBA team in the past.

The replacement of Greg Norman could take place as early as next week. His contract with the LIV runs until August 2025. He could therefore retain a role in the circuit which still does not offer world points, it should be remembered, but which includes champions like Jon Rahm, Bryson DeChambeau or Tyrrell Hatton.
