The second round of the Butterfield Bermuda Championship was suspended on Friday evening due to darkness and did not resume until the following day. With one less player.

Raul Pereda, PGA Tour player, was in fact disqualified from the tournament because he was not present when play resumed according to the tweet on X from the American circuit's communications organ.

Raul Pereda was 2 over par when he was disqualified by officials, four strokes over the provisional cut. He made two consecutive bogeys when play was suspended on Friday and, with just two holes to play, he no doubt felt his chances were permanently damaged.

Several players withdrew from the competition after Friday evening's postponement. Among them, Scott Piercy, Paul Barjon,
MJ Daffue et Wilson Furr. Read here (https://www.golfplanete.com/actualites/deux-homme-en-tete-dans-le-vent-des-bermudes/)

They declared themselves non-starters the same evening unlike Raul Pereda whose best result of the season was recorded in the Mexican Open in Vidanta, where he took 42nd place.
