The American Austin Eckroat signs the second success of his career at the age of 25 by winning the World Wide Technology Championship in Mexico, with a final card of 63. Leader since the second round, the Colombian Nico Echavarria is content with the top 10. Paul Barjon and Martin Trainer did not make the cut of this antepenultimate FedEx Cup Fall tournament.

And two! Eight months after a first victory at the Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches, the American Austin Eckroat signs a double this season by winning the World Wide Technology Championship in Mexico. The 25-year-old golfer finished with a card of 63 despite two bogeys (eleven birdies on the El Cardonal course!) to win with a one-shot lead! His six-meter birdie putt at the 17th clearly ended the suspense.

The complete ranking

Already assured of the top 50 of the FedEx Cup which offers a ticket to the signature tournaments of 2025, Eckroat is ahead of four other Americans, including Joe Highsmith who moves to the right side of the top 125 needed to keep his card next year.

Barjon and Trainer increasingly with their backs to the wall

Great host of the Mexican tournament two weeks after his coronation at the Zozo Championship, the Colombian Nico Echavarria settles for sixth place alongside the South African Garrick Higgothe only non-Americans in the top 25 with the Englishman Harry Hall (14e). Martin Trainer et Paul Barjon did not make the cut. There are only two tournaments left for the two Tricolores to save their playing rights for next season.
