Guerrier and Campillo lead the Andalusian Masters

It’s an understatement to say that he has the course of the Real Club de Sotogrande in his eye. Julien Guerrier had already posted a magical 62 on Thursday at the opening of this Andalusia Masters (personal best equaled after the first round of the Portugal Masters in 2020), to position himself at the very top of the leaderboard “feeling like you’re playing PlayStation”.

After a much less successful second round at San Roque (72), the Frenchman once again heated up the moving day card with a splendid 63, in ideal conditions (no wind, sun, mild temperature, perfect and sometimes wide course ). No one did better this Saturday. Starting off with a bang (4 birdies on the first six holes), imperial with his irons, to the point of almost being “given” for eagle at 12 and 14, the tricolor (-19) joined Jorge Campillo in the lead at the start of the 15.
