For the second day in a row, the late afternoon rounds of the third FedEx Fall tournament were unable to complete the 18 holes of the Black Desert Resort course in Ivins, Utah. Paul Barjon is one of the players invited to finish their second round on Saturday at dawn and the Frenchman is on an unfavorable waiver.

Three holes, three birdies! This is the contract that must be fulfilled at all costs Paul Barjon Saturday morning when he will be invited to go to the ultra spectacular course of the Black Desert Resort in Utah, drawn in a lava field by the late Tom Weiskopf, to complete his 2nd lap.

The Frenchman is provisionally in 86th place at -2 total and when the game was interrupted by the organizers, the cut stood at -5.

With a par 4 on which he has a putt of less than 3 meters for birdie, a par 3 of 143 meters and a par 5 on which 5 eagles and 69 birdies were recorded on Friday, Paul Barjon’s chances to invite yourself over for the weekend are not completely compromised.

Stephan Jaeger sans pression

In the lead, it’s the German, who defeated Scottie Scheffler at the end of March at the Texas Children’s Houston Open, Stephan Jaegerwho stole orders from the Canadian Adam Svensson. The German started his day with three birdies in a row before scoring two consecutive chips at 15 and 16, synonymous with a return to 30 and a card of 63.

Please note that Jaeger is not affected by the race for the top 125* since he played two of the three Playoff tournaments of the FedEx Cup and finished 43rd in the 2024 season. He is one of two players present in Utah in this case with the American Chris Kirk.

Despite a score of -14 after 36 holes, the Munich native will be in the sights of at least six players separated from the lead by a maximum of two shots.

*In the 8 end-of-season tournaments grouped under the term FedEx Fall, players fight to enter the top 125 of FedEx and others to not leave it while after this meeting only five tournaments before the American circuit definitively lowers the curtain on the 2024 season at the end of the last event (RSM Classic) until November.
