Change to launch this year 2025 at the head of Caveb (Cooperative of meat producers) and its subsidiary Svep (Meat company of Parthenay breeders) based in Châtillon-sur-Thouet: Anne Porchet has been the new director since January 2, 2025. A position vacant since mid-June 2024 and the departure of Yohann Richard.

A well-known face

Anne Porchet's face is well known to Caveb's 877 members: she worked in the cooperative from 2007 to 2020 as technical manager, notably in charge of the Life project on dynamic rotational grazing. Before spending three years as development manager in the Soléo investment fund, of which Caveb is a shareholder, then a year as sustainable development manager at Océalia.

“I wanted to get back into breeding and it was a great challenge that was offered to me, in an environment that I know wellshe assures. And I am attached to the cooperative model. » Saluting “the true belonging of employees to Caveb and Svep”Anne Porchet takes advantage of this to “thank you for mobilizing to keep activities going and meeting the expectations of customers and members” during this “period of fluctuations” without a captain at the helm of the ship.

At her side, Antoine Proust, vice-president at Caveb in charge of the sheep section, highlights two main missions for the new director, “in continuation of what we know how to do: strengthening technical support on farms and supporting as many young people as possible in their installation”.
