12th after 72 holes, Joël Stalter, 32 years old, former resident of the European Tour who was playing at the end of the season on theAsian Development Tour (the 2nd Asian division) after a short stint on the Challenge Tour in 2024 (7 tournaments played, 1 cut made), took 6th final place thanks to a final card of 66 (-5) on the A&B composite course of Lake View Resort & Golf Club of Hua Hin (Thailand).

108th of the Road to Mallorca with only 8 cuts made in 23 starts this year, Julien Sale, 26 years old, had failed in PQ2 of the European maps near Almeria (Spain) on November 3. The member of the Team St Laurent therefore masterfully ends the year by taking 23rd place in these Asian Cards with a final score of 68 (-3).

Also on the Challenge Tour this season, Gary Stal, 32, winner on the DP World Tour in 2015 in Abu Dhabi in front of… Rory McIlroy et Martin Kaymerlike Julien Sale, had a difficult season in the 2nd European division. In seventeen starts, he has only made the cut four times. Also present at PQ2 of the European Cards (in Huelva), he failed to qualify for PQ3. Winner of the First Stage in Chonrubi (Thailand) on December 6, the Lyonnais based in Dubai finished in 28th place at -10 with a final round completed in 67 (-4).

This final of the Asian Cards is won by the Japanese Takumi Murakami (-20), already in the lead the day before at -19. He is one and two shots ahead of the South Koreans Kyungnam Kang et Doyeob Mun. Other qualifiers include Australian Todd Sinnottalready victorious on the Asian Tour (in 2017), and the Spaniard Eduard Rousaudformer European number 1 amateur and turned pro in March 2021…

However, this does not work for the Swiss Robert Foleycoached by Alain Alberti et Raphaël Jacquelinand for the Chinese Ashun Wumultiple winner on the DP World Tour and who lost his playing rights this season for only one place in the Race (115th).

The 2025 Asian Tour season will begin in Manila (Philippines) from January 23 to 26 in Manila Southwoods Golf and Country Club for the Philippine Open ($500,000 endowment). It will be followed by the first International Series (2 million dollars) from January 30 to February 2 in India in the suburbs of New Delhi, notably with the presence of Bryson DeChambeau.
