The DP World Tour has unveiled changes to its 2025 global calendar, including the return of two national open events and quite a few new courses.

There will be 42 tournaments on the Race to Dubai 2025 program. They will take place in 26 different countries next year.

From the perspective of the endowment, a new record was reached with 153 million dollars excluding majors.

Like last year, the calendar is made up of three sequences: the “Global Swings” between the end of 2024 and August 2025, then the “Back 9” from September, and finally the “Playoffs” of the DP World Tour.

What about the Scandinavian Mixed and the European Open?

Note also the returns of the Turkish Open which had disappeared from the DP World Tour for 6 years, and the Austrian Open which has been absent since 2021. The Italian Open will set up shop on the sublime Argentario course.

However, for the moment the European Open which took place in Germany at the beginning of June this year has disappeared, the same for the Scandinavian Mixed the following week.

Another tournament for which we are awaiting confirmation is the Andalucia Masters won a few weeks ago by Julien Guerrier in San Roque and which could take place in the wake of the Spanish Open in October but which does not appear on the calendar for the moment.

The Irish return to the K Club

Among the other notable changes, there is of course the move of the FedEx Open de to the de Saint-Nom-La-Bretèche for the first time since 1982 due to work in progress at the Golf National. As we announced to you last month, the French stage will take place between the BMW PGA Championship in Wentworth and the Ryder Cup in Bethpage, from September 18 to 21.

The Irish Open returns to the K Club after a highly successful edition at Royal County Down in 2024.
