We are going to move towards a grass that is more resistant to heat, more resistant to diseases, and consumes less water. And if we have the budgets, perhaps we will also extend this to the fairways. Afterwards, we have other work to do such as repairing the Berliners which are a little tired.
How do you approach these profound organizational changes that are coming your way?
It stops us a little in our momentum, because it’s true that today we have enormous appeal. In all humility, the Golf National is the only golf course in the world to have hosted the Ryder CupTHE Olympic Games and a open national on numerous occasions. It’s a fact. So we have a lot of requests from players who come from all over France and around the world to play our flagship course, and it’s great! This work will certainly cut us off in our momentum, but it will also allow us to take advantage of this period to build the National Golf Course of tomorrow. We will take advantage of this, for example, to create a compact 9-hole course at the academy level, which will allow both the beginner to roll the ball from the tee to the green, and the good player to have real golf shots. to type. As we are in an area where there are a lot of businesses and we will have a metro 18 station right next to here, it could be very attractive for people who want to play between noon and two, or evening after work.
