David Beckham’s son Romeo ends career at just 22

The Brentford striker, who had offered him a contract extension, has decided to turn to modelling.

Romeo Beckham will no longer follow in his father’s footsteps as he made football history. The 22-year-old will end his career while playing for Brentford’s reserves in England. The Sun has revealed the news, claiming that the son of the late «Spice Boy» will now devote herself to her modeling career.

“Romeo has decided to hang up his football boots and devote his time to his fashion career. He has loved his time at Brentford but needs to focus his attention on fashion, which is his passion.”a source told The Sun that Romeo had signed with “a top fashion agent in Paris.

Romeo Beckham’s football career never really took off. Having played for the Los Angeles Galaxy and then Paris SG when his father moved to the capital club in 2013, the striker then continued his training at Arsenal, Inter Miami, and then Brentford since 2023. But he never broke through with the «Bees»within the reserve team.

Romeo Beckham is not going to turn his back on football completely as he will continue to look after the Brentford Penguins, a section reserved for five-year-old players who have Down syndrome.
