“It’s just crazy” (US Open (F))

It was an incredible experience to play that match on the Arthur Ashe against such an opponent. Of course, it’s disappointing because I felt like I was close to making it to the final at the end of the second set. I felt like I could push her in the third, but I wasn’t able to. She played really well. When we got here, I was joking with my team that I really hoped to win a match at the US Open. In the end, I made it to the semis and I’m in the top 10. It’s just crazy, but it justifies all the hard work we’ve put in.
