Many celebrities paid tribute to Alain Delon following his death on August 18. Anne Parillaud, Nathalie Baye, Line Renaud… But also Matthieu Delormeau. The latter appeared in front of the family home in Douchy to pay his respects in turn.
For several weeks, Matthieu Delormeau has made the clever choice to stay away from the media sphere. Following his arrest last July, the former columnist for “Touche pas à mon poste” has not posted anything on his social networks, letting time do its work.
This Monday, August 26, the fifty-year-old appeared in Douchy, in front of Alain Delon’s family home. On his Instagram account, he posted a photo where we can see the wreaths of flowers in front of the gate and the countless little messages from the actor’s fans.

In turn, Matthieu Delormeau went to drop off a photo of the “Samurai”, taking the time to reflect and pay tribute to Alain Delon. In his story, still on Instagram, he wrote a comment: “There is no deeper solitude than that of the samurai.”

Matthieu Delormeau remains silent about his arrest
The case dates back to July 1, 2024, in Paris. The French media “Le Parisien” had announced the police custody of Matthieu Delormeau following his catch red-handed buying cocaine. The events took place in the 6th arrondissement, in Saint-Germain-des-Prés.

At the same time as his hearing, his home was searched and the police discovered several illicit substances including a gram of cocaine, cannabis, MDMA and GHB.
Following this drug trafficking case, many rumors of attempted suicide spread about Matthieu Delormeau. All were denied by the columnist’s relatives who, however, received a therapeutic injunction for drug use.
