Seasonal products and advice, Laurent Mariotte and his bon vivants are here for the seventh season of La table des Bons vivants! A show to help you eat well and understand what you eat.

This week, Laurent Mariotte is surrounded by Lyonnaise chef Sonia Ezgulian and food critic Emmanuel Rubin. What is your taste of the week? This is the ritual question asked by Laurent Mariotte. It could be a flavor that marked their week, a restaurant that caught their eye, a dish that they cooked or that was concocted for them. The opportunity to discover new tastes or new addresses, favorites but also, for them, to vent.

For this first show of the season, they tell us about their summer tastes. Sonia Ezgulian tells us about the eggplant she cooked all summer. She also discovered a new Lyon address: the grocery store Le petit groin, in Lyon.

For his part, Emmanuel Rubin fell for the blond liver cake at the Auberge du Pont de Thorey, in Saône-et-Loire. And he also visited Villedieu les Poêles, a small Norman town almost entirely dedicated to crafts. This is where the famous Mauvielle factory is located. The town is above all the epicentre of the copper saucepan. A museum has just been inaugurated recounting the wealth and artisanal memory of the town.

And Laurent Mariotte has cooked tomatoes in all their forms. Now is the right season to enjoy them! Take a bite.
