Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions reveals more gameplay in video – Nintendo Switch

As September 2 marks the start of the school year for many students, Hogwarts is also preparing for the start of the school year with a new video from Harry Potter: Champions de Quidditch. This latest release by Warner Bros. Games allows players to discover new gameplay clips, starting with the PvP mode, customization options, skill trees and other broom upgrades. We let you watch it all below. As a reminder, the Nintendo Switch version of Harry Potter: Champions de Quidditch is expected in the course of the year 2024 without further details.

In Career Mode, players begin their adventure at the Weasley Burrow in the Garden Cup, then take on the challenge of the Hogwarts House Cup, where they must choose their house and face familiar characters like Cedric Diggory and Draco Malfoy. Next, players will represent one of the three great wizarding schools—Beauxbatons Academy of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Durmstrang Institute, or Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry—in the iconic Triwizard Quidditch tournament. Finally, they will take on the ultimate Quidditch challenge on a global scale, competing in the Quidditch World Cup.

In PvP, each player controls one of the team’s Chasers, plus a role of their choice between Chaser, Keeper, Beater, or Seeker. Players can adapt their playstyle by earning skill points to boost their stats and learn special moves. They can also upgrade their brooms, increasing their maximum speed, agility, and more. Game content can only be obtained by progressing through the game and cannot be purchased with real money.
