Novak Djokovic talks about Jannik Sinner again after the storm of the last few weeks: surprising announcement

After what happened in the past few weeks, many would have expected very different words from Nole, knowing the relationship between him and Jannik. In the press conference the Serbian, speaking about the case Clostebolhad instead limited himself to underlining how there is a need for fairness of judgment in tennis, above all to defend the rights of those players who cannot afford extremely expensive legal teams.
Not an accusation against Sinner but a way to highlight those disparities that unfortunately, in a classist sport like tennis, still exist, and cannot be denied. The first week of the 2024 US Open will surely be remembered as the week of the biggest surprises at the Slam level in recent years. And above all, statements that seem to put an end to the rumors, already rather stifled, of possible friction between him and Sinner.
