It was a night to forget for David Neres. Having just arrived in Naples just ten days ago, the Brazilian was the victim of a violent carjacking after the match against Parma. The former Benfica Lisbon player was on the road to return to the hotel with his wife when suddenly, two men broke the window of his car and held him up, gun in hand. The two men demanded the Napoli player’s watch, estimated at 100,000 euros. Very quickly, David Neres reported the theft to the police before being escorted to the hotel.

The evening had started well.

David Neres had started his evening well by providing an assist for Franck Zambo Anguissa. Coming into play during the match, the 27-year-old was playing his second match with the Neapolitans. The match ended with a big victory against Parma (3-1). But quickly, the evening turned into a nightmare for David Neres with this very violent car jacking. But more fear than harm for the Brazilian and his partner.
