At the Élysée, it’s all hands on deck. Emmanuel Macron started the new school year on Monday, August 26, by ruling out the option of an NFP government with Lucie Castets at the head of Matignon. Since Tuesday, new consultations have been underway. Back from Fort de Brégançon with her husband, Brigitte Macron is closely following the president’s searches and negotiations with the main parties for a new Prime Minister. The First Lady was captured in the palace gardens while she was getting some fresh air with her dogs, the Labrador Nemo and the Kazakh greyhounds of the Tazi breed Jeanne and Jules. The 71-year-old former literature teacher wore a chic yet casual outfit, appropriate for this stormy political return.
Brigitte Macron wore an elegant navy blue suit jacket, buttoned at the front and with very sophisticated notched lapels. She had paired this piece worthy of the working girl’s wardrobe with a spotless white shirt, whose French collar peeked out underneath. To break the serious look of this blazer-white shirt combo, the mother of Laurence and Tiphaine Auzière had put on dark raw jeans cut just above the ankles and a pair of two-tone sneakers from the brand No Name, with white and blue striped platforms and navy blue laces. Blue, Brigitte Macron’s favorite color
This back-to-school look contrasts with the clothes chosen by the First Lady for her last summer appearance in Bromes-les-Mimosas. Brigitte Macron attended the celebrations for the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the city of Var on August 17, dressed in a sophisticated monochrome sky blue suit. This color is one of her favorites, since it has the merit of highlighting her blond blow-dry and emphasizing her tanned complexion. Her ensemble consisted of a fitted jacket with flared and open sleeves and chic matching pants that she had belted. As for accessories, she simply wore a pair of dangling earrings as well as large brown tortoiseshell sunglasses.
