A 20 Minutes also, the question is nagging us. So we have gone through the 2024-2025 calendar in search of future bridges and long weekends and we can already tell you that the harvest will be good. Indeed, none of the eleven public holidays in this new school year fall on a Saturday or Sunday.
The program until Christmas
The festivities will begin in November since the 1st, during the All Saints’ Day holidays, will fall on a Friday. The 11th is Armistice Day, and it’s a Monday. Bingo, you can once again get a three-day weekend… or more, if you stick one or two RTTs behind it.
In December, Santa will bring you two public holiday Wednesdays on your schedule (December 25 and January 1), which will allow you to have at least one warm week without dipping too much into your holiday stock.
Thursdays in May, do what you please
After nearly four months of hard work, interspersed with possible February holidays, it’s time for the spring holidays and Easter Monday, April 21, which falls on… a Monday (that doesn’t change). A short day off that heralds a month of May full of lie-ins: Thursdays May 1 and 8, but also Ascension Thursday, May 29. A good opportunity to unlock your CP, and take four of them, for example, on the 2nd, 5th, 6th and 7th to benefit from eight days off in a row.
After Whit Monday on June 9, the two public holidays of the summer will fall on a Monday for July 14 and a Friday for August 15. Two long weekends again that can easily turn into a short week, with a few days to take off judiciously here and there. Come on, it will come quickly!
