Patrick Fiori (The Voice Kids), his tender confidences about his ex Lara Fabian: “I always loved her”

Back on TF1 for season 10 of The Voice Kids(broadcast since August 17), Patrick Fiori spoke to our colleagues in the latest issue of Evening mag, on newsstands since August 28. The talent show coach, who has been there for nine years, spoke about the pleasure he gets from participating in the program and how he sees the children evolve over the years. Asked about the possibility of being in the shoes of the young candidates, to know which team he would decide to go to, the 54-year-old singer-songwriter had a tender word for each of his opponents, especially for the one who shared his life for less than two years.

“Here I am faced with a mountain of talent!” acknowledged Patrick Fiori, who would have a hard time being in the shoes of a participant in The Voice Kidsfacing three upturned armchairs. “I love what Slimane is offering,” he first declared, admiringly, before praising the originality of the second male coach of the show: Claudio [Capéo] transports you with his accordion.” As for the 54-year-old Belgian-Canadian singer, it’s impossible to deny what he feels for her, obviously on a musical level: “Lara [Fabian]I always loved her, from her first albums.” More generally, the program coach proudly stated: “It touches me enormously, what they do, artistically and humanly. I know that the production team thinks carefully about which coaches they are going to propose and here, we are faced with a beautiful ball of fire that will light up the children’s eyes.”

A former couple who did not withstand the shock of the new century

As a reminder, Lara Fabian and Patrick Fiori met in 1998, in Canada. Their love did not lead to a long relationship since during the night of the year 2000, the lovebirds ended their story. A rather brutal breakup that hurt the singer in particular, but which does not prevent them, twenty years later, from keeping respect and kindness for each other. On the set of The Voice Kids, They prove their complicity by not stopping themselves from putting obstacles in each other’s way whenever possible, determined to have the best talent in their team.
