There were around 80 of them, Saturday October 12, 2024, swaying their hips and twirling their hands in the air to the title Modern love by Zaho de Sagazan on the Place de la République in Arles. A unique inclusive initiative intended to launch Mental Health Weeks which are being held in the city until Saturday October 19.
“Mental Health Information Weeks are a national event and this year they have chosen movement as their theme. That’s why we created this flashmob to open the event. With around twenty people that we support, we also created an exhibition at the Espace Van Gogh on the question of movement“, explains Hélène Fournier, specialist educator at Isatis, an association which supports people suffering from mental disorders in their daily, social and professional lives.

Indeed, an exhibition called “Let’s create a link” will take place from Sunday October 13 and until Friday October 18 at the Espace Van Gogh to present the works created around the theme of setting in motion by the beneficiaries of the Samsah of Isatis association and members of the mutual aid groups Gemme de soi and Planète Gem.
