The sky turned blue on an autumn afternoon which in the morning did not promise anything good was transformed into a stage of emotions and smiles during the event organized by the Garfagnana Lions club for children, teenagers and adults less fortunate than others. An unforgettable experience which, like every year, gave these young and old the chance to fly in a helicopter, abandoning barriers and creating precious memories that they would carry with them into their future. The meeting took place at the Ciocco equipped area, made available to the Marcucci family and the Manes group together with the magnificent helicopter that hovered over the Pascoli village all day. Heartfelt thanks go to them for their availability and sensitivity that they renew every year, as this is the third edition of Eliexperience. An immeasurable welcome complete with a final snack organized by the Lions wives associated with an atmosphere full of anticipation in which the children, boys and girls, accompanied by family members and volunteers, gathered to learn the details of this adventure which for many it meant repeating it with renewed enthusiasm. With the help of the members of the Lions club who coordinated the event, the participants had the opportunity to explore the magnificent aircraft, touch the technology and listen to the explanations of the pilots who, as always, collaborated flawlessly to the success of the event, naturally participating in the preparation operations for the many flights but above all creating a relationship with the kids that is touching to say the least, proving themselves, as always, to be truly special people. When the time came to take off the emotion was palpable in each of them but I would also like to say in each of us. Each passenger received special treatment. The pilots and volunteers made sure everyone was comfortable and ready for the experience, with hearts in their mouths mums, dads and chaperones watched the take-off as laughter and screams of joy rose into the sky. In flight, the young and old passengers were able to admire the landscape from a unique perspective, unusual for their eyes when observing the world from the other side. Each helicopter ride represented not only a moment of leisure but also a lesson in courage and freedom. The smiles on their faces told more than words. A sign of how even the simplest experiences can transform into extraordinary memories. The event, in its third year, not only offered a flight but also created a sense of community with Lions club members having the opportunity to interact with families and carers sharing stories and support. Many parents expressed their gratitude by underlining the importance of inclusive initiatives that allow even the less fortunate to live unique experiences. This day demonstrated how community service can make a difference in the lives of many. Also present on the beautiful day were Andrea Marcucci accompanied by the mayor Caterina Campani and the president of Anffas of Lucca Gabriele Marchetti as well as Lions representatives coming from far away such as Liria Aprosio, past president of the Ventimiglia Lions Club. The Garfagnana Lions clubs, in their sixtieth anniversary which occurs this year, with their commitment have opened the doors to a world of possibilities for these children, teenagers and adults, making not only the helicopter fly but also their dreams. In conclusion, the event represents a shining example of how solidarity and the desire to lend a hand can unite people, creating moments of happiness and hope. Every helicopter flight was a celebration of life, an invitation to dream big without letting limitations stop us.
