Four people were arrested and taken into custody on Sunday evening. After twenty-four hours – the maximum duration during which the gendarmes can keep a person – police custody was prolonged twenty-four hours by the Charleville-Mézières public prosecutor’s office, as the law allows. Back to the facts: Sunday, around 5:30 p.m., the gendarmes intervened in a house on rue Pasteur. The tenant of the accommodation and another resident of Rimogne are holding back a third man. The first’s companion is also present. A command cell for the operation was set up in the town hall.
