the horse racing industry challenged to get back in the saddle

DECRYPTION – On the eve of the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe, which is being held at ParisLongchamp this weekend, the Galop association is displaying its new ambitions.

A legendary race, capable of bringing together the best racehorses in the world for over a hundred years. This weekend, the ParisLongchamp racecourse will be in all its glory, for the 103e edition of the prestigious Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe. The event will be broadcast live in sixty countries and followed on site by more than 35,000 spectators. Mostly French, many English (the foreign nationality most represented in the stands) and Japanese, known to be fans of horse racing.

This year again, this meeting place for horse racing betting enthusiasts promises to be a festival of chic outfits and extravagant hats. Like last year, an allocation of 5 million euros is planned, distributed between the first five horses to finish. A record amount of bets in one day, exceeding 90 million euros, is expected to be wagered.
