Matin
Patches of grayness affect the southwest plains, the center-east and Alsace while in the rest of the country, the sun manages to easily impose itself in a very cool atmosphere. A little instability concerns the Alpes-Maritimes and Corsica with showers which can take on a stormy character.
Minimum temperatures: 2°C in Flers (Orne) to 16°C in Ajaccio
Afternoon
Beautiful autumn weather is settling in in most of our regions with sunshine in a slightly cloudy sky. The regions close to the eastern borders maintain cloudy skies and the risk of thunderstorms persists in the Alpes-Maritimes. Mistral and tramontane blow up to 70-80 km/h in gusts in their area.
Maximum temperatures: 13°C in Strasbourg to 21°C in Béziers
Soirée
Calm and dry weather becomes widespread with clear or slightly cloudy skies. A few downsides: Alsace retains very cloudy skies and the Alpes-Maritimes sees the last showers clear away during the evening.
Temperatures at 9 p.m.: from 7°C in Aurillac to 16°C in Nice and Perpignan
Weather trend: what you need to remember for the coming days
This weekend, you will have to prioritize your Saturday to enjoy outdoor activities, because the sun is still expected to be generous over 3/4 of the country, after the fog banks or low morning clouds have dissipated. On Sunday, the weather will deteriorate in the north-western half of the country with the return of more autumnal weather conditions with intermittent rain and wind.
