PSG: the nice photo between Saka and Pirès after the meeting

A few weeks ago, Robert Pirès did not fail to outrage Arsenal supporters after the following remarks: “Bukayo (Saka) still lacks a certain level of consistency and experience, especially in high-stakes matches. Maybe this season, especially in the Champions League, he will be more convincing compared to last season when it really mattered. Aware of the outcry this had caused, the Gunners legend backpedaled on Instagram: “I want to make it clear that I think Bukayo Saka is an incredible player and I have immense respect for him. Some time ago I was asked to compare him to another player….I said the other player had better skills in certain areas…that doesn’t mean the other player is better than Bukayo Saka… I honestly think Bukayo Saka is better and a fantastic number 7!“.

Words which allowed him to regain the favor of his former supporters but also of the main person concerned since on Instagram, the English international posted after the victory against PSG a photo of himself in the company of the 1998 world champion with the caption: “Friends again“. All’s well that ends well in North London.
