After the Lorient Theater last year, FC Lorient took its official photo this Wednesday afternoon in front of the Hôtel Gabriel, one of the city’s historic monuments. Twenty-eight players, as well as members of the club’s management, staff and employees, posed for this traditional meeting at the start of the season.

Among those absent: Benjamin Mendy. Officially still an FCL player, and under contract until 2025, the former French international, who did not find a way out this summer, is not part of the club’s plans. And even if he is back at Lorient to continue his rehabilitation, he will not make his return with the group, as we indicated. The club is looking for the best solution for his departure.
On the other hand, several young people were there for this meeting, notably Enzo Genton, scorer against Ajaccio last Friday (3-0), still a professional trainee. Isaak James, Jérémy Hatchi were also present, as was Bassirou N’Diaye, currently injured.
