Accidents. One person killed and four seriously injured in 24 hours on the roads of Sarthe

THE Sarthe firefighters were mobilized to three serious accidents in 24 hours, from Saturday September 28 to Sunday September 29, 2024. One man died, four people were seriously injured and 17 more lightly injured during three accidents.

Two accidents in northern Sarthe

Saturday September 28, at 8:35 p.m., two cars collided in Moncé-en-Saosnois, near Mamers, at a place called La Grande Croix. Two people were seriously injured and three more lightly. They were transported to hospital centers in Alençon and Le Mans.

At 11:45 p.m., new accident at La Hutte in Fresnay-sur-Sarthe. A 50-year-old man was killed, one person was seriously injured and four others were slightly injured. They were transported to Le Mans hospital.

One serious injury and 10 minor injuries in a third accident

Third accident, this Sunday September 29. Around 9:30 a.m., two cars, including a minivan, collided at a place called La Croix Marion in Saint-Vincent-du-Lorouër. One person was seriously injured and ten others lightly. They were transported to the Le Mans hospital center and to the Pôle Santé Sud.
