At 37 brooms, Jérémy Ménez decided to say stop. Without a club since the end of March and his departure from Bari, where he only played ten matches, the former French international (24 caps and participation in Euro 2012) will not return to the pitch.

Jérémy Ménez is an extraordinary talent, a European champion title with the famous 87 generation (2004), a hat-trick in Ligue 1 in around ten minutes with Sochaux, at 17 years, 8 months and 15 days ( 2005), two French championship titles with PSG (by scoring the pawn against OL which gave the Parisians the first coronation of the QSI era), several iconic goals, and a list of totally absurd clubs: Sochaux, Monaco , Roma (114 matches between 2008 and 2011, with a 16-goal season in Serie A), Paris, Milan, then the downward slope with Bordeaux, Antalyaspor (Turkey), Club América (Mexico, with a championship title and a national cup along the way), Paris FC, then the end in Serie B with Reggina 1914 then Bari. Last May and June, he participated in Mexico in the Kings World Cup – a 7-a-side football competition created by Gerard Piqué and formatted for Twitch – in a French team formed for the occasion and notably composed of Samir Nasri, footballers from second class or French Internet personalities.
