A terrible road accident occurred on Saturday September 28 late in the afternoon on the D 538, near the town of Vaunaveys-la-Rochette. Two cars collided head-on. In the shock, a 60-year-old Crestois man who was alone in his vehicle lost his life.
In the second vehicle, three young people aged around twenty were seriously injured.

They were taken care of by the fifteen firefighters present from the emergency centers of Crest, Grâne, Upie, Montmeyran, Allex and Montoison, and transported to the Valence hospital center. On site, gendarmes from the Crest community of brigades and a crew from Psig de Valence carried out the usual findings and secured the scene while the emergency services intervened.
