Top 8 goal! This is what the French delegation is aiming for at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, which will take place from August 28 to September 8. To reach this rank, the French Paralympic and Sports Committee is counting on 20 gold medals. Highly anticipated, Marie Patouillet opened the counter in track cycling, followed by Alex Portal and Hector Denayer (swimming). Track cyclist Alexandre Léauté pocketed the very first title for the Tricolores to launch a medal haul that promises to be generous, particularly in paracycling, paraswimming, paratriathlon, and para-athletics. Discover the medal table, as well as the faces of the French medalists.

The French team can notably count on the considerable increase in its number of athletes (138 in 2021, 237 in 2024) to increase the chances of podiums. “This is the first time in history that we will have French athletes in all disciplines”congratulated Marie-Amélie Le Fur, the president of the CPSF, before the Games.
