3-year-old girl hit by her teacher: the “experienced” teacher had worked for 10 years in the school, disciplinary proceedings launched

The incident took place the day after the start of the school year, it was the first time this 3-year-old girl went to school.

The teacher was immediately replaced. A nursery school teacher at the Frères-Voisins nursery school in the 15th arrondissement of Paris was filmed hitting a 3-year-old girl the day after the start of the school year. A mother was present in the class at the time of the incident and, shocked by this attitude, she forwarded the video. A terrible experience for the little girl who was going back to school for the first time, but also for her classmates who witnessed the scene.

“It’s a huge trauma.”believes the mayor of the 15th arrondissement Philippe Goujon, invited to the microphone of BFM this Tuesday morning, who judges this act “unbearable” et “unspeakable“The mayor admits to being particularly surprised by this attitude. “coming from a confirmed teacher who had been in this school for about ten years and on whom we obviously had no information of this type”he said. Disciplinary proceedings will be initiated and “even more so since the parents filed a complaint” he emphasizes.

The images are terrible: a teacher tries to calm a crying little girl by hitting her on the back. The blow is so violent that the child falls to the ground. The teacher then sends her to the corner and pours the contents of a bottle on her.

Nicole Belloubet, the resigning Minister of Education, called for the immediate suspension of this teacher and the opening of disciplinary proceedings. “These images are terribly shocking and unacceptable in our School,” she recalled.
