What’s on today’s schedule?

Winner of the individual pursuit on Friday, track cyclist Alexandre Léauté returns to the Vélodrome, with the C1-C3 kilometer. His compatriot Dorian Foulon will defend his title in the C5 pursuit acquired in Tokyo.

In table tennis, table tennis players Florian Merrien and Flora Vautier (mixed doubles XD7) are playing in the semi-final against the Chinese Feng Panfeng and Zhou Ying (midday). The duo Clément Berthier-Esteban Herrault will also try to reach the final against the Chinese Liao Kei and Yan Shuo, in the men’s doubles (MD14).

In swimming, Léane Morceau will try to win his first medal in the 100m backstroke S12. In athletics, Timothée Adolphe and Gauthier Makunda will try to reach the semi-final of the 400m T11. Antoine Praud will be in the 1,500m final (T46), like Dimitri Jozwicki, who will also compete in the 100m (T38).

In team sports, the Blues will shine in goalball (United States – France, men, France-South Korea for the women), in wheelchair rugby (France – United Kingdom), in wheelchair basketball (Germany-France, men) and in sitting volleyball (France-Egypt, men).

Other medals will be awarded in shooting and archery. Note that the taekwondo competitions end this Saturday, August 31, and will be replaced by the fencing competitions.
