We saw him as the blue Bacchus in one of the scenes of the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games. Today, the singer, composer, performer and actor answers questions from atypical journalists from Papotin Meetings during an unfiltered interview for this first show of the new school year.

Philippe Katerine in front of the editorial staff of “Papotin”
This third season opens with an artist much appreciated by the journalists of the editorial staff of I’m a pothead since they listened to the title “La Banane” for a long time as a preamble to their editorial conference, as Julien Bancilhon explains. A versatile artist, Philippe Katerine is today recognized both as a singer-songwriter, having won a Victoire de la musique in 2020, and as an actor, with a César for best supporting actor for The Big Bath. His poetry and simplicity transformed this meeting with the editorial staff of this atypical newspaper into a joyful, musical, but above all festive moment. This playful universe, which is his, naturally harmonizes with that of the “Papotins” and when Yolanda asks him what his car is called, he answers: ” I call her Mathilde. She is nice to me and I have never had an accident. I drive like a grandmother! »

This hair that I don’t like anymore, I like to think that birds took it to make a nest.

“The Papotin Meetings”
This magazine of atypical interviews proposed by Éric Toledano and Olivier Nakache, produced by Henri Poulain, takes up the DNA of the newspaper The Papotinwhose editorial staff (40 to 50 people) is composed of non-professional journalists with autism spectrum disorders. In each program moderated by Julien Bancilhon, a unique personality is interviewed without a filter and without a star host. During this meeting, the rules of the game are simple: ” You can tell Papotin anything, but, above all, anything can happen! »

I feel like both a girl and a boy. It depends on the moment.

“Le Papotin”, an atypical newspaper since 1990
The Papotin is a newspaper created in 1990 by Driss El Kesri, an educator at the Antony day hospital. It now has 53 journalists with autism spectrum disorders. Every Wednesday morning, the atypical journalists meet for an editorial conference hosted by Julien Bancilhon, editor-in-chief of the publication and psychologist. They discuss the articles and interviews with personalities that will make up the next edition of the newspaper. In 2022, Kiosco.TV and Quad+TEN, based on an original idea by Éric Toledano and Olivier Nakache, are launching the television format inspired by the newspaper on France 2.
