A collapse towards Somport
The most spectacular example is in Urdos, where the road was cut off after a collapse between the town centre and the Somport tunnel, making traffic impossible (location: PK 109 800). The prefect activated the RN 134 traffic management plan to manage the consequences on traffic.

Indeed, access to Spain is therefore completely cut off on the main traffic route in Béarn. The circulation of light vehicles and heavy goods vehicles is prohibited on the RN 134 and RN 134 between Gurmençon and the Spanish border. A local service is nevertheless maintained to access the municipalities of Cette-Eygun, Etsaut, and Urdos, up to the point where the RN 134 is cut off to allow local residents to circulate.
Transit vehicles will be returned to Gurmençon in the France-Spain direction, and at the entrance to the Somport tunnel in Canfranc in the Spain-France direction. Transit vehicles already engaged will, depending on the importance of the event, be stored or returned before the RN 134 cut-off point, the prefecture also indicates.
In addition, around 300 people are without electricity in the area, Enedis teams are mobilized, the prefecture specifies.
On the bad weather front, the situation is improving in Béarn, with the orange warning having been lowered to yellow for rain. It is now the Gave de Pau in its Bigourdan sector that is the subject of particular attention.
