Sold for €278,000, this Porsche 911 Turbo Edition 50 Years costs almost €28,000 more than the 992 Turbo S that serves as its base. It has equipment that comes as standard on the 911 Turbo 50th Anniversary, and is optional on the Turbo S: PDLS Plus headlights (€618 option on the Turbo S), PASM Sport (€1,500), the front axle lift system (€2,436), the Sports exhaust (€3,108), the black PCCB brake calipers (€828), and the “Turbo S Exclusive Design” wheels (€2,292) painted (€1,200). Other equipment in this limited series is specific to it and cannot be quantified. This is the case for the upholstery or the “Turbo” side stripes, but clearly, the 911 Turbo 50 is not a “good deal” like some special anniversary series, the 911 Black Edition or, in the same spirit, the 997 Turbo S “Edition 918 Spyder”, have been in the past. As a reminder, the 992 Sport Classic, which is much more specific, was worth €280,603 two years ago. Up until now, customers continue to play the game, convinced of a capital gain on resale. But does this Turbo 50 stand out enough from the crowd to justify it? Will it live up to the expectations of brand fans? We will find out soon. For now, orders are open and the 1,974 units will begin to be delivered in the fall.
