Audrey Lamy, François Damiens, Béatrice Dalle… the stars chase away the clouds in Angoulême

The FFA stronger than the rain. Despite a Breton drizzle that made us understand the origin of the famous charentaises, the stars of French cinema did not lose their smile. Throughout the day, the teams of the films programmed during the 17th edition of the Angoulême Francophone Film Festival took turns at the photocall and then on the blue carpet, before meeting the public during the many previews.

On Wednesday, the highly sensitive “Mikado” by Baya Kasmi, with Félix Moati and Vimala Pons, “Le Procès du chien” by Laetitia Dosch, already on the Croisette, with François Damiens, owner of a moody dog ​​(and present in Angoulême), and “En tongs au pied de l’Himalaya” by John Wax, with Audrey Lamy in one of her best roles, that of a courageous mother of an autistic child, were screened. Festival-goers were also able to discover a stunning first French film, “Fario” by Lucie Prost, with Finnegan Oldfield and Megan Northam and the documentary “La Passion selon Béatrice”, dedicated to the actress Béatrice Dalle.
